Even our specialty honey varieties are crafted using only real, whole ingredients rather than synthetic substitutes. Is Crystallization Normal?

Yes! Honey crystallization is a completely normal process that varies based on the season, Temperature, specific flower sources, and the different climate across Canada where our honey originates. To return your honey to its liquid form, simply immerse the jar in a Container of warm water over low heat and stir until the crystals dissolve; you can also place it in a container of hot water and leave it off the heat until it liquefies naturally.

How do I store my Honey?
  • Liquid Honey: To help slow down the natural crystallization process, store your liquid honey at cool room temperature, ideally between 10°C and 15°C (50°F to 60°F). Keep it away from extreme temperature fluctuations and direct sunlight.
  • Creamed Honey: The choice here is based purely on preference. If you enjoy a solid, firm, and scoopable texture, the fridge is your best bet. If you prefer a lighter, more spreadable consistency, simply leave the jar in your pantry at typical room temperature.

Is Honey go bad?
  • Honey is one of the rare foods that truly never expires. Its indefinite shelf life is due to its low moisture content, natural acidity, and protective enzymes, which together create an environment where bacteria and mold cannot survive. In fact, edible honey has been discovered in Egyptian tombs dating back thousands of years. While your honey may eventually darken or crystallize—changing from a liquid to a solid, grainy texture—this is a natural evolution and not a sign of spoilage. As long as the jar remains tightly sealed to prevent outside moisture from entering, your honey will remain safe and delicious to enjoy forever.

At KB & DIA, we are committed to your satisfaction with our products. Please read our policy carefully to ensure a smooth return or exchange process.

  1. Return & Exchange Period

Our policy covers a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

  1. Eligibility & Condition

To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • Unused & Original State: The item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition that you received it.
  • Original Packaging: The item must be in its original packaging with all tags and labels intact.
  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required
  1. Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)

Due to food safety reasons and the nature of our product offerings, the following goods are exempt from being returned or exchanged and are considered Final Sale:

  • All food items, including honey and bee products.
  • Perishable goods (e.g., flowers, magazines).
  • Intimate or sanitary goods.
  • Hazardous materials or flammable liquids/gases.
  • Sale items (only regular priced items may be refunded).
  1. Damaged or Defective Items (Exchanges)

If your product arrives damaged or defective, we will gladly exchange it. We require photographs of the damage within 48 hours of delivery to file a claim with our shipping partners.

Please email us immediately at info@kbdiahoney.com with your order number and photos of the damage to facilitate a replacement.

  1. Return & Exchange Process

To initiate a return or exchange:

  1. Contact Us: Send an email to info@kbdiahoney.com.
  2. Authorization & Address: We will provide instructions and the correct address to send your return.
  3. Ship: You are responsible for covering your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Partial Returns: There are certain situations where only partial returns may be granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, with damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery.
  1. Refunds & Processing

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved Refunds: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.
  • Shipping Cost Deduction: If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your total refund amount.
  • Timeline: The time it takes for the refund to post to your account may vary depending on your financial institution and location.
  1. Shipping Your Return
  • We do not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of returned packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to the KB & DIA shipping address.
  • If you are shipping an item valued over $70, we highly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
